Covid 19 Update – Red light means go!

We’ve missed you all and dancing!

The Government has announced the new COVID-19 Protection Framework to provide a pathway out of lockdown and this includes returning to dance.
When it’s time for us to open our doors, your health and safety remains our top priority.
In the Red settings of the new framework, dance studios will be allowed to open under the restrictions of vaccination certificates and up to 100 people, based on 1 metre physical distancing where possible.

Here is what dancing under the Red light setting means for our students:

  • When we can open again all classes will run on a casual basis until the end of the year. As soon as we know the start date these classes will be online and available for booking.
  • Bookings will be essential for EVERY class you attend so we can manage class numbers and appropriate social distancing.
  • Masks wearing will be mandatory before and after class, when entering and exiting the studio.
  • We encourage anyone wanting to return to Viva in the Red and Orange settings to get vaccinated. Access to classes will be limited to fully vaccinated students.
Be prepared to show your certificate at reception when you enter the studio. All of our staff are fully vaccinated for your safety.
  • If you paid for courses or classes that were cut short by the lock down, you can transfer your credit towards the casual classes or new courses starting in 2022. Please contact [email protected] to organize this.
  • As always, please observe social distancing, sanitization, mask wearing and staying home if you are unwell.

We can’t wait to see you again soon! Please feel free to email us at [email protected] if you have any questions, we are happy to hear from you. Once again, thank you for all your support during these difficult times, we really appreciate it!
