MODERN DANCE 101 (6-8 years old)
Our Modern Dance classes will include elements and exercises from Ballet, Jazz and Contemporary. We designed these classes to teach the kids some basic dance technique as well being an age appropriate and fun experience.
Our terms are designed so the students get to dance and explore different styles throughout the year. Our fun classes allow our students to progress their performance skills in different dance styles. Modern dance focuses on nurturing versatile and passionate dancers who may not necessarily want to commit their whole year to just one dance style but instead would like to explore choreography and skills in a variety of styles.
Our classes provide a great foundation for students if they discover a dance style which they later wish to specialise in. Our classes are focused around the enjoyment of dance and the exploration of movement. We encourage every student to focus on expression and storytelling.
