Our belly dance classes run on Mondays at 6.30pm (choreography) and 7.30pm (beginners)
This course is a follow-on from our beginner course. Here the techniques and moves learnt at beginner level will be developed and put together into a full choreography over the course. This course is suitable for anyone who has completed a beginner course or has previous belly dance experience.
Belly Dancing is a form of exercise with graceful dance moves and beautiful feminine creativity based on the folkloric and performance dance styles of the Middle East. It’s a great way to get fit, flexible, confident and work every muscle in your body while having fun! Belly dancing is not only a great female fitness program, but also balancing for mind and soul.
What to wear: Please wear comfortable fitting clothes such as gym wear so that your movements can be easily seen and a scarf for the hips or coin belt. You can either dance barefoot, in socks, or flat dance shoes.
You can join in week 1 or 2 of this course as a casual attendee, but you must book and prepay online for any class/course you wish to attend. Book to join this course by the deadline for registrations which is 4.30pm on the day of the class. To maintain contract tracing we are no longer accepting walk-ins. Numbers for classes are limited according to studio capacity and operate on a first-in-first-served basis, once the limit is reached you will be unable to register.
